MDS4 Digital Slide Scanning System
The digital slide scanning system MDS4 is a newly developed achievement by Micro-shot Technology. It can upgrade manual microscopes of the same grade, such as Micro-shot MF43‑N and Olympus BX43‑LED / BX53‑LED series, into a digital slide scanner. Meanwhile, it fully retains the microscope’s original functions including direct visual observation and high-resolution imaging. It serves dual purposes in one device with powerful performance.

Dual-camera Configuration ：
Its dedicated optical splitting interface supports dual-camera configurations, seamlessly integrating full-slide scanning capabilities with high-resolution ROI imaging. Motorized stage positioning on the overview map allows for precise in-situ observation of regions of interest.
Independent Automatic Focusing & Recognition ：
Delivering fast, precise fully closed-loop autofocus through fine adjustment of the Z-axis objective height. The system automatically identifies the scanning region with smartphone-like autofocus speed, while leaving the native focusing mechanism completely unaffected.
High-precision Motorized Microscope Stage ：
At the heart of the system is a high-precision motorized stage. An intuitive electronic handwheel delivers precise XY-axis positioning and brightness control for effortless operation, while leaving all original microscope capabilities fully intact.
Adjustable Precision for High-speed Scanning ：

The peak frame rate of data acquisition exceeds 100 fps. A 10× scan can be completed in as fast as 40 seconds. Users can also add scanning points before scanning to improve scanning precision.

After scanning is completed, the high-performance computer integrated into the digital slide scanning system quickly performs seamless stitching and outputs a full-view high-definition panoramic image.
